Just around the corner from Sim Lim Square, this is one of the only places in Singapore to get home-style Russian cooking. It's a small cafe, but the Uzbek chef whips up wonderful Plov, which is yellow rice cooked with meat (think of it as Eastern European biriyani). The Plov is oily and satisfying, so balance out your meal with a fresh Russian salad of tomato, onion, and cucumber. If you have any doubt that the cooking is authentic, at night you occasionally see Russian model-types eating here!

This was the first Russian food that I tried and I would say, definitely it's a must try cuisine specially here in Cafe Lyubi Menya.This is now the newly renovated Cafe Lyubi Menya. A great place to hang out with. I checked their menu and they are offering a lot of cuisines like Singaporean local food, Italian pastas, grilled foods fr Western and of course my latest cravings, Russian cuisine. Me and my 2 friends attended the AX Exotic Travel country presentation of Uzbekistan and it's held in Cafe Lyubi Menya. And it's FREE! They even serve Uzbekistan cuisine to all the attendees. Yumyum! First time to try the Plov! And it's really a blast in my mouth! First bite, I can't get enough of the lamb meat. I met Chef Rinat, and he's from Uzbekistan. He's the one behind the delicious Plov I ate and he even served me another one. A must try Russian cuisine! There are chicken, pork and lamb shaslik to choose from!This is my platter of Russian food. Overall Russian food experience is really an exotic and great tasty one! For all those who wants to try Russian dishes, this cafe is a must try! Ambiance is a good to dine in place, comfortable and cozy feeling, you can also bring your friends to hang out even outside of the cafe.
