Signature Dishes
Tako balls are a classic Japanese dish that is very popular in Singapore. The tako balls here are really good, much better than many other places. These are superior because the skin stays crispy for quite awhile unlike other places where the balls get soggy. There is the option of the classic special sauce or the egg mayo topping. I chose the egg topping which costs $3.90 for 4 balls. The other option cost $3.80 for 4 balls. The egg mayo is a special nice touch.

The sotong balls from Tsukiji Gindaco are superb. It costs around $7 for 8 pieces of the piping hot sotong balls, topped with a layer of delicious egg mayo sauce. The sotong balls are crispy on the outside and soft inside, which typically melts in the mouth. Unfortunely, the octopus filling inside is quite small and sometimes I can't even chew it. However, it is still the best sotong balls I have tried.

This small sotong balls store at Bedok Point has lots of fans who love Japanese foods will patrol there regularly. Was impress by their foods and drinks. The sotong balls here are only made upon order and they are moist in texture, with juicy and crunchy mini sotong in it. The Japanese sweet sauce used is really thick and nice and not too salty. Moreover nice mayonise sauce is also added to enhance the flavour of it. At only three dollar and sixty cents for a total of 4 pieces, it is a good buy and like by many teenagers staying near there.

Went there for dinner with colleagues. I ordered Chicken Katsu Curry Rice and Tamago Takoyaki. When I received the rice, it was totally not tempting. The food was not hot and the curry was too 'watery' for me. The curry was not thick at all. As for the chicken, it was not fresh and bit hard. I think the chicken was overly cooked. The rice was normal but a bit sticky. This was the 'BAD' curry rice I ever had. The noodle was average, is like normal fried noodle. The takoyaki was quite good but not hot. Overall, the food was poor.

I was there with my wife When we got there, we were so early that a queue hadn’t even formed yet, and they were just about getting the first batch of balls nicely browned. We placed our order, and were told to return in 5 minutes to pick it up.The Tako balls outside is browned and crisp, and when you cut into it I would advise not biting into a freshly cooked one cos it’s steaming hot!!But i find that is a bit over priced...
