I happened to be in the area of clementi, so decided to head to the clementi market for dinner. I was walking around, could not decide what to have, finally settled for this stall could mouth meal. I ordered their fried bee Hoon and added the long beans and rendang pork ribs. I was surprised that it came up to $3.70. Found it a little pricey since I only ordered two dishes on top of the bee Hoon. The long bean was a little overcooked, did not have the crunchiness anymore. The rendang of the rendang pork ribs was a little diluted, tasted more like curry. But nevertheless the flavour was quite good and went well with the bee Hoon. The pork ribs were quite tender but there were quite alot of fats. As a whole it was just ok. continue reading

Shared this dish with my boyfriend. I liked the design of their signboard. Using a cartoon mouth to symbolise the word mouth which can also mean mouth-watering. The stall auntie recommend me to try their curry pork rendang so I ordered that and also Taiwanese sausage and the yellow dish think is made from egg yolk. They have two sauce to choose. The sweet sauce and the chili. The chili is left with one that pathetic amount. Anyway, after trying their bee hoon and the highly recommended curry pork rendang, I guess I won't want to order from here again. The bee hoon is tasteless and hard to chew. The curry pork rendang is cold and not nice at all. Sorry to say that if I were to eat this again, I might have to add a lot of chili to cover up the tasteless bee hoon. The egg yolk thing and taiwanese sausage is nice though. continue reading
