This is your typical ice kachang but with a gula melaka twist to it. I saw an uncle eating this and was wondering what it was so I went up to ask him. He said that instead of the usual syrup, he likes to add brown sugar syrup. Sounded interesting so I ordered it. Turns out I like this better than normal ice kachang. The brown sugar and the attap seed gives it a very authentic local feel. As you can see, the portion of corn is quite big and the grass jelly cubes are substantial too. For $1.50, this is definitely value-for-money! continue reading

I always order the coffee whenever I come to this foodcourt. The coffee here is very fragrant and delicious. You can already smell the aroma as you bring it close to you. It is quite of a high standard, considering that it is in a foodcourt. However, I find the coffee a little too sweet, especially towards the end where all the milk is, if I did not stir enough (which I usually don't). Can probably request them to add less sugar next time. continue reading
