Love these butterfly kuehs from this beverage stall. There are so many deep fried and steamed items to choose from but this is definitely my most favourite among the other. It is full of fragrant from the white sesame seeds topped on it and the texture is really fluffy and very light. Not too oily which is the advantage of this yummy goodies! Willl normally buy at least a dozen pieces to share with my fellow colleages. continue reading

Really like to eat most of the deep fried items from this stall. The curry puff is with the thicker crust version, but is very crispy and the curry chicken fillings in it is really generous and slightly spicy. The yam cake is filled with lots of yam cubes and the texture of this kueh kueh is chewy, compact and yet delicious. The spring rolls here is also fill with lots of shredded vegetables which is quite an ideal choice for those who loves to have more vegetables and yet love to eat deep fried foods. At only eighty cents per piece, this is really a very good buy and I strongly recommend everyone to try it if you have yet to try so. continue reading

The tapioca of this stall is rather stiff, which suggest that they use old tapioca. It would certainly be better and in fact important for the tapioca to be soft and easy to bite. However, I would say they give quite generous amount of coconut milk to go with the tapioca, and importantly, the coconut milk is fresh. continue reading

The tapoica looked nice so I thought I'll order it. The good thing here is that there is no extra charge to takeaway. The lady is very fast and efficient. The tapoica taste was not very good. there was no sweetness at all. Usually sugar stewed tapoica is supposed to be sweet but this one has no taste! Not even tapoica taste. The texture is good and firm, not mushy. But it really needs to be sweeter. Totally bland. You can add coconut milk to it. The coconut milk has some sweetness so it helps. Otherwise it's like eating a bowl of sticky bland starch. Not really recommended. continue reading

Other than beverages, desserts, this stall also sell variety of steamed and deep fried dim sums. Especially love their deep fried crispy curry puff. Very generous potato and chicken cubes fillings and the deep fried crust is thick and crispy, very fragrant. Portion is quite big and at only eighty cent each, this is really a very good buy! Two thumbs up! My verdict: 7.5/10 continue reading
