Chocolate cake $2 - The cake was rather soft but I felt that the chocolate taste wasn't rich and lacked that intensive chocolate flavour present in chocolate cakes. This tasted average. Cheesecake $2.50 - The cheesecake was quite soft too, with the texture partially resembling that of a cheesecake. The cheese taste wasn't very strong but it was distinct enough. There was also a layer of chocolate sponge cake at the base with frozen chocolate on top. Worth a try! continue reading

Another Traditional Bakery Shop Visited in Bukit Batok! What caught our eyes was the little boxes of Eclair on displayed with some chocolate coated in zig zag patterns of the golden baked pastries.Without further ado, we took the box of Eclair and paid $2.10 for it. The eclairs were traditionally made cradling the most cream in between. It came with hint of coffee taste which was not favourable to me as I'm not a coffee person. The cream was thick unlike those french pastries where their cream tasted less buttery and oily. Luckily we have not much expectation since it was made from a traditional bakery and as expected, a traditional Eclair Taste. continue reading

My mother got this bread for me from this bakery for afternoon tea break. There are many choices available at the bakery, but I told my mum I wanted something more filling, which is why she got this bread, where the filling is minced chicken with a little mushroom. I cant really taste the mushroom at all, so it ended up being more like a chicken bread. Pretty average tasting in my opinion - hence not really recommended. continue reading

This bakery sells a wide variety of bread, placing the breads even outside the shop itself. I like to choose from the small pieces of bread which are packed together in 4s or 6s or 9s. They have the weirdest and most unique combination, seldom seen in other bakery. Their sponge cake is really worth a try. Tiny pieces, great for snacking. It has a strong fragrance of egg. continue reading
