Introduction
On March 15, 1965 casual dining got a serious kick start. That′s when a fun-loving New Yorker named Alan Stillman purchased a bar and named it T.G.I. Friday′s. Stillman’s ideas fashioned the legacy that exists in all Friday’s restaurants to this day. T.G.I.Friday's also offers fantastic American food you can’t find anywhere else, like the signature Jack Daniel’s Grill®. continue reading

Sizzling chicken breast and shrimps $27.90 - The chicken breast was sauteed with garlic and the shrimps were very small. The melted cheese tasted quite mediocre which was a disappointment. The chicken breast was also very small as I thought the portions served here are usually rather big. Overall, I find this overpriced and taste isn't fantastic as well. Won't be getting this again. continue reading

Invited by a friend to Friday’s Western Restaurant, I promised my attendance without hesitation. I fancy about the superb cuisine over there, too bad Orchard outlet was currently closed down. I still remember I was always their supporter due to the convenient location. Anyway good news for those who plan to dine at Fridays during Christmas or eve, 3 course set meal was having promotion which only costed $59.90++. However, reservation was advisable for such occasion.Chicken & Shrimp Diablo was my choice, as usual I like pasta deeply. Well seasoned meat and fresh prawns were stir-fried along with noodles, it was then blended in a fiery tomato Diablo sauce. Entire costed me $21.90, taste was unique and delicious. My friend ordered Jack Daniel’s Steak, thickly moist grain-fed steak was tender to the max. I tried one bite as I not very fancy about beef, but it did surprise me. Char-grilled until a perfect tenderness, the meat was flavoursome. Steak was a bit expensive, $33.90. Spoiling yourself on Friday, you will know what called great dining experience. continue reading

We are craving for western food and so we decide to go TGIF at 112 Katong for lunch.Cajun Shrimp & Chicken Pasta, tender chicken and shrimp sautéed with red bell peppers, then tossed with al dente fettuccine ribbons in a spicy Cajun Alfredo sauce. Finished with Parmesan shavings. It's nice, the pasta goes well with the sauce and the red bell pepper enhance the taste of this dish.Jack Daniel's® Black Angus Sirloin* & Shrimp, 10-ounce Black Angus sirloin fire-grilled and basted with Jack Daniel's® sauce, paired with crispy Cajun-spiced shrimp. Served with your choice of two sides. The sauce is quite unique, a little sweet and goes well with the steak, the steak is cooked to my preference of medium rare, the shrimp is alright, fresh and tasty. I like the mesh potato that is serve with this dish, creamy and tasty. My friend ordered Jack Daniel's® Chicken & Shrimp, tender grilled chicken breast glazed with Jack Daniel's® sauce, paired with crispy Cajun-spiced shrimp. Served with your choice of two sides. She says the chicken is tender and well marinated, she likes it.Loaded Potato Skins, FridaysSM signature potato skins are loaded with melted cheddar and crispy bacon. Served with sour cream and green onions. This is yummy, I am a fan for potato, the filling inside the potato skin is nice and creamy. Nice. continue reading

My girlfriend whom is staying in the east picked this venue for her birthday lunch. I made a table reservation in advance because of the big group.I ordered their Signature Jack Daniel's Ribs (half rack) $26.90++.I chose to have onion rings instead of fries. The onion rings were huge, crispy and yummy when dip in the JD sauce! The cajun marinated grilled ribs were soft and tender. The meat falls off easily from the bone. Thumbs up!Brownie Obsession $11.90++Sticky and sweet brownie served with vanilla ice cream and choco fudge & caramel sauce. It is a tad sweet but very yummy. Sugar rush!Overall dining experience was good. There's room for improvement in the service area as we feel they were a bit slow to attend to us. continue reading

With a name that stands for Thank God It’s Friday, it’s not surprising that my friends and I decided to come here on a Friday to celebrate the weekend! Had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Quesadilla which is loaded with tons of calories as the Quesadilla is fried with Parmesan cheese, but they're probably worth it as it tasted oh so sinfully good! The Jack Daniels ribs are coated with a wonderful smokey marinade which contains...you got it, Jack Daniels whiskey. Be prepared to get your fingers sticky from the glaze! continue reading
