One of my favourite prawn noodles. It is $5 min, though it might seems expensive, but the size of the prawn, and the quality of the food, is definitely very worth the price. I ordered the $5 one today. The $8 one is better, as the prawn is bigger and more fresh... But the $5 is already quite good, the prawn is big.. I always ask the boss not to halved the prawn, as I find it more shiok to bite on a whole succulent prawn.. The soup is awesome, rich in prawn favour. Strongly recommended. continue reading

The FoodI ordered a bowl of prawn mee served with five big prawns and one piece of pork rib. Cooked with the concentrated essence of prawns and pork ribs, the mouthwatering soup is delightfully flavorful and absorbed by the delicious noodles really well. The four full large prawns are fresh, fleshy and tasty and would have been perfect if they were de-shelled hence will be easier to eat without using my hands to peel off the shells. The PriceReasonably priced at $8 per bowl for 5 big prawns!OverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this! continue reading

Came to Zion Road to try out this prawn noodles stall after hearing that people will queue over half an hour just for a bowl. The stall puts up multiple awards from TV stations and magazine, so it should be really good. But maybe it's a Sunday when I visited, so there wasn't any queue when I was there.Since they use the same soup base for all their noodles, I ordered a bowl of pork ribs noodles, cause I'm not a fan of seafood. For $5, the portion is of average size. The soup base is great. It's not too oily and has a very strong flavour of pig bone and prawn, and it tastes even better if some of their chilli powder is added. The pork ribs are also fresh and cooked just right. The meat sides off clean the bones, and is quite juicy.I would come here for their noodles again! continue reading

I always don't get to try at this stall as usually their lunch queue is scaringly long and the stall owner always run a one man's show. But I got to try this time as I came earlier and the food market just went under a 2 months renovation and not many people were aware of it's opening and so the queue was only a handful of customers. I asked for a $5 servings along with some pork skin(ooh....collagen) and I was so attracted to the bowl of thick broth! Everything was so yummy, the prawns were fresh, the pork skin was crunchy yet soft and the soup was amazingly thick and aromatic. Only thing was the portion was little for that price. continue reading

The owner was sorting out the uncooked prawns in front of the stall when I passed by. The size of the prawns caught my attention, and I decided to give it a go. Well, the portion of the prawn noodles is not big for its price, but the prawns are very fresh. I guess The quality of prawn matters more and I think it does worth the price. The soup base is clear and flavourful. One could taste the natural seafood sweetness. continue reading
