Qi Ji is a perfect place for your snacks. Whenever I need something light, I will definitely dropby here. Heaven! I will always order their signature Popiah with prawns and Chee Cheong Fun.As for popiah, so tasty and generous fillings of ingredients. You can taste the nuts... so crunchy!Their Chee Cheong Fun is so soft and smooth. Serve with their chilli, soy sauce and topped with sesame seeds. Ooh la la... Yum!Spending : $2.30 for Popiah and $1.60 for Chee Cheong Fun continue reading

My friend recommended me to this shop’s poh piah and I’ve liked it ever since then as it tastes simple and fresh. It costs $2 for one without prawns. The skin is not too thick or thin and the amount of sauce is just right that it is not too sweet and also not too plain. The ingredient includes the standard ingredients and it is fragrant and not too dry.The flavor isn’t too strong but I prefer it that way…which is simple and nice ;D And it seems to be quite a healthy choice to have that as it is not too oily and not heavily salted. The size is reasonable for $2 and it is quite filling and worth it. A great choice for light meals, since it won’t get you too full continue reading

Really enjoy this yummy muslim dish as it is delicious and at the same time quite healthy too. Lots of crunchy cabbages, sliced carrots, chopped long beans are used in this dish which make it really delicious! The vegetable curry gravy is also quite thick in texture and is full of the fragrant from the nice creamy coconut milk used in it. The portion is consider quite generous and the price is also reasonable. If you like the more spicy version, do add in their sambal chilli and will be really spicy already. continue reading

Dropped by Qiji, it's located outside of Hougang Mall, next to Old Chang Kee. Felt that their Nasi Lemak sets were not too bad. There are a couple of nasi lemak sets with various combinations to choose from. Just look out for the menu descriptions and pictures. I had the set with otah, egg, hot dog and fried fish fillet. The coconut rice is very fragrant, the other ingredients were not too bad either. Just a little irritated with the service staff; the guy did not put in the piece of cucumber until I asked for it. The person assumed that I didn't want it, but that's not right, especially since the pictures provided by the menu includes the cucumber and I am paying for it. continue reading
