Could smell the aroma of the fried rice from miles away and this dish looks so simple but is so delicious and a form of comfort food! Love that the fried rice had prawns in them that were not only fresh but springy to the bite. The fried rice was not too oily and the rice went really well with the pickled green chilli. Like that the fried rice had enough egg added to it and one word to describe this: YUMMY! continue reading

Thai food is one of my favourite cuisine food because there is Tom Yam, spicy food, and also Pineapple fried rice. This stall is not really a Thai restaurant, but it do sell Pineapple fried rice. Well, quite disappointed as the rice don't taste anything different from the normal fried rice. Except the rice is yellow color. It comes with some chilly, lettuce at the toppings, and of course, pineapple. I love the pieces of pineapple as it tastes fresh, It mixes really well with green chilly by the way. $5 for a plate of fried rice is actually not very cheap for me. But I still think its worth it for a nice plate of fried rice. continue reading

This stall was new to me, so I decided to give it a try! I saw the menu on the banner and it pretty much attracted me. I saw the prawn noodle set and decided to order it. I thought it was the herbal type prawn noodle after interpreting the picture on the menu, but I was so wrong.I happily ordered it and the cashier was asking me if I want noodle or rice. So I insisted that I wanted the noodle. Then she was saying, "not nice lah, must have it with rice." Still, after she said so I ordered the noodle with the prawn soup which I still thought it was herbal prawn noodle. The other staff was asking again, "you sure you want noodle." Then confidently I said "YES!" Then she was saying "you will regret." She went on asking do I need any sauce for my noodle. Having tons of question marks in my head, I asked her what sauce are you referring to?First time in my life I ate yellow noodle with black pepper sauce. After much anticipating, the prawn soup was served on my tray. It was kind of Tom Yam prawn soup!Wrong kind of combination with the noodle! But the noodle with the black pepper sauce was nice surprisingly. The Tom Yam soup was nice expect that there's too much chili seeds and too few ingredients in the soup. Maybe they can add some crab stick or fish cake as just solely with the prawn was kind of plain. What an experience! continue reading

What caught my eye was the ribena fried rice. I wonder how would this taste. However, I was not courageous enough to try it. Instead, I ordered the chicken horfun and they claim to have a chef special gravy for this horfun. Indeed, it is quite special. The gravy is sweet, something different from the usual gravy. The chicken wing is quite tender, but nothing very special. The horfun is well cooked too. continue reading
