After I ordered my food (Fried rice with eggs), I regret immediately. Sad! The store looks more popular for its carrot cake? Correct me if I am wrong. The fried rice was oily, somehow reminds me of what I ate in China. The egg was a bit charred, but the amazing the thing is the egg yolk is was not completely cooked. Maybe is because of the wok? Ok, I am not sure. But to anyone who is reading this, I will not recommend their fried rice. continue reading

there is some hokkein mee in this char kway teow, which makes it odd. it is very super oily. not just greasy. actually dripping oil. the sign says no lard used. but they must have compensated by using a lot of vegetable oil. overall, we felt sick after eating it. there are a few prawns in there. but mostly, all you can taste is some wok "hei" and lots of oil. costs about $3. it's situated in a very stuffy part of the centre. hard to breathe with all that smoke from the bbq next door! continue reading

we like carrot cake but not when it's too oily. the carrot cake is so oily you do feel sick after eating it. the carrot cake pieces are also chopped too small. not really recommended but it's not too bad. although no lard is used, a lot of vegetable oil is used and it is definitely not healthier at all as it is so super oily. there is no real taste except fried oil and garlic. the egg is nice and makes the dish rather overly rich after all that oil on top of it. service is pretty fast. continue reading
