I had a very fulfilling meal here with good relaxing ambience.Service was prompt and friendly.I ordered a spicy tofu chicken soup with rice and topped up for a mini kimchi platter and caramelised sweet tapioca. The kimchi tasted just right and fresh and not overly sour. They makes really good appetisers. The spicy tofu chicken soup was standard and not much of a surprise. What really wowed me was the plate of caramelised sweet tapioca. It was topped with crispy rice crackers and i love the caramelised tapioca which is sweet and addictive. continue reading

My friend and i love Korean food hence we decided to try out Bibigo since neither of us had it before We order this value set meal.My friend wanted the chicken kimchi soup and i wanted the bibimbap! And we didn't realise that just nice if we order this under the set, we get a free gyoza dish and their malt rice tea!!!I would really recommend the tea, very fragrant!!!And it helps to clear out stomach after a hearty meal I love the bibimbap, it's not very oily and it's very healthy with beef, cucumber, mushrooms, egg and seaweed flakes! My friend's kimchi soup is very appetizing too Would recommend korean foodies to try this out! continue reading

Nex is quite near my place plus with 2 direct buses there, it's a place which i like to go if i want a nearby venue with friends. I love Korean food so for somewhere near me, Bibigo is not a bad choice. For my first visit, i went for Kimchi Fried Rice. I always prefer softer rice so korean or japanese rice is a good choice. It has a slight spicy taste to it and together with kimchi, it's a very flavorful dish.Enjoyed it a lot and the side dish which can be refilled is always welcomed and i enjoyed a 2nd serving of the yummy kimchi. Now when i talk about it can make me drool too! continue reading

After a few days of feasting on meat and sweets, i decided to drop by Bibigo for some healthy, veggie-rich meal. I ordered the Hot Stone Bibimbap, choosing barley and white rice, tofu toppings and traditional Kohot sauce. The meal came quite fast with a soy beansprout soup on the side. The soup was light and refreshing, with the umami taste of soy beansprout that is used to boil it.The Bibimbap comes with a wide variety of vegetables like mushrooms, broccoli, etc. Without the sauce, it is a little plain tasting. Thus, one MUST add the sauce! I was given a packet of Kohot sauce and sesame oil. Adding them into the rice and mixing everything together in the hotstone makes my stomach rumble even more. I like the fact that their hotstone bowl unlike those served in most korean stalls in kopitiam. Their hotstone makes some of the rice crispy, but not charred. A plastic rubber is attached on the top to prevent us from burning our hands when we scoop the food. Thumbs up for their thoughtfulness.A very pleasing experience with Bibigo. I will drop by again for other food like their seafood pancakes and red chicken that i saw other customers having that day which looked too delicious to give them a miss! continue reading
