Teck Kee sells traditional dim sum such as different types of pau. I normally get the da pau which comes in either pork or chicken flavour. The meat is pretty succulent and juicy and the portion is pretty substantial. The bun itself has good taste too with a nicely flavoured dough with good fluffy texture. Eaten fresh out of the steamer this is really delicious. continue reading

Teck kee has pretty good paus. The paus are all really tasty and flavourful. The best one is the big pork or chicken paus which are really substantial. Despite their large size the skin of the pau is quite thin such that you can see the sauce almost bursting out of the pau. The meat itself is tender and juicy and there are bits of crunchy vegetables to add contrast of texture. Not cheap at 1.60 per pau but still affordable. continue reading

Nice vegetable buns. Rather small but the pastry holds very well and did not get soggy even after the buns became cold! It's about $0.90 a bun which is a bit much for a bun. But the service is very polite and fast and efficient. The quality of the buns are fantastic. The filling is very tasty and there's a sesame oil taste. Love all their buns and there's always someone buying buns by the boxes when I'm there. I'm glad they have a bun shop here so I don't have to go to Orchard to get it! Recommended! They have har kow and siew mai at $0.90 each as well. But that's very expensive as the size is small and it's less than a bite! continue reading

A small snack to go, here's the nice place to take a change compared to go to McD or Chippy or any other taiwan fried stalls! Here's the best famous pau seller with their glutinous rice and egg, it's small in size for $2, so it' just nice and piping hot to fill your 4pm crunch tum! It is hot and the taste is a bit bland for the rice, so add some soy sauce which to give the salty taste! continue reading
