Actually I am not frequently having my lunch at Jurong area, I was brought by my colleague to this hawker. Yong Tau Foo stall did catch my attention, lengthy queue yet patrons were willing to wait. Ladyboss was quite young, all their food prepared were freshly made. To keep the things simple, I was given an empty plate to pick whatever thing I wanted to eat.Opted for decent soupy meehoon, I took lady fingers, fried tofu and assorted veggies. The boss was using soy bean to cook their soup, that’s why naturally syrupy flavourful. I used to have my bowl with a small plate of darkening sweet sauce, it enlightened the taste. Only $2.50 as I had 5 pieces of stuffs, the price was reasonably acceptable.

Although the variety of the yong tau foo is not as many as other stall, I still decided to buy a bowl of yong tau foo from this stall as their yong tau foo items looks quite fresh. I have picked several vegetables, fish meat ball and some nhior hiam. All the items are sufficiently cooked and well cut into small piece for easier eating. As for the soup base, it is light and refreshing and is not too oily and goes well with the rice. Lastly, the sweet sauce is quite similar to other yong tau foo stall and their chili sauce is not that spicy. Price wise is quite reasonable for about $3.50 for 6 items.

FoodYong Tau Foo (YTF), being one of the healthier choice options in hawker centre can be served or eaten in many ways. Dry (with chilli / sweet sauce) or soup and with Noodles or Rice at your preferred choice.A wide selection of YTF choices were displayed on the shelves. Having picked 8 items on the bowl together with yellow mee, I have opted for sweet sauce instead of chilli as I'm afraid that the chilli taste may be overpowering.Fried beancurd skin looks wrinky with little amount of fish fillings.Healthy soup that comes with a handful of boiled soy beans to enhance the taste of the soup.As the soup is packed with assorted YFT, it is naturally delightfully clear and refreshing.ServiceService is rather fast with little or no queue. AmbienceDespite being the only YTF stall in the food centre, there is not much crowd for this stall. Perhaps they are challenged by other hawkers who are selling great food as well. It's no surprise as Jurong West 505 Market and Food Centre are usually packed with people.PriceReasonable pricing.Recommendation / TipsThe fish ball however tastes abit not fresh. I will skip the fish ball the next round.

I had yong tau foo for dinner that day. I had to order 4 pieces for $2.50 and an extra 50 cents for noodles. The portion of bee hoon was normal, not very generous, but enough to make me full. There was a variety of ingredients, including fried and non -fried but they didn't re-fry the fried items. The chili sauce was not very spicy. I didn't wait long for my food, the stall helpers worked quite fast.
