Leprino Foods Opens Newest Hub in Singapore

Leprino Foods’® humble beginnings began in 1950 when founder, Mike Leprino, decided to open a small grocery store in Denver, Colorado. Aside from the usual products sold at stores, he also sold his own cheese products which his customers adored so dearly they kept coming back for more. He noticed the boom in his business due to his cheese product, and pretty soon, he closed down his store and focused on making high-quality cheese.
It’s been over 60 years since Leprino Foods® opened for business, and they have definitely come a long way. Now considered as a world leader in dairy ingredients and cheese products, they have over 50 patents for mozzarella cheese-making technologies. Their strong presence in the industry has also allowed them to build 10 production facilities and 2 in the UK. Singapore is the newest country in Asia to be graced by Leprino Foods’® presence. Just recently, the cheese-making giant has opened its newest hub at the Nordic European Centre in the International Business Park (IBP). Its latest Asia hub is approximately 6,000 square feet and provides a highly-interactive environment in which to collaborate with and better serve the company’s growing Asia-Pacific customer base. One of the key highlights is their Innovation Studio, which is the location where experts create the products which they could potentially market to their customers. At their recent launch, the studio was turned into a classroom where eager guests were able to make their own pizzas. A hands-on course like this is also one of the perks Leprino Foods® offers to their customers. “We’re deeply committed to helping our customers win in the marketplace…” says Kevin Burke, Senior Vice President, Global Business Development of Leprino Foods Singapore. In addition to the studios and special courses they offer, the Asia Hub also features a business office with dedicated customer care, sales, field support, and business development personnel. As a world leader in premium-quality cheese production which supplies cheese to 9 out of 10 pizza/entree market leaders, it’s hard to imagine how Leprino Foods started as a small family-owned business in Denver. Though the company has expanded tremendously, they are just as committed as ever to ensuring every ounce of cheese is just as delicious as the cheese that built the company in 1950.
