Just realized that I've not written a review for this wonderful place!! Now that they are in a more populated building, business is better than then.

I brought my good friends there as I was craving Penang makan and sorta 'passed' that craving to them too. There were many many yummies served:
1) Prawn noodle soup - the soup is POWER man!!

2) Char kuey tiao - the chef fry in relatively small batches to maintain that wok-Hei Yumz. Thus, the noodles sometimes disappear too quickly and would have to wait. But trust me, the wait is worth it!

3) Assam Laksa - not many people appreciate the Assam Laksa like I do and they serve very very good ones!!!

4) Chicken Satay - juicy, thick chunks of chicken nicely grilled, but not too tough. Good job!

5) Beef Rendang - I didn't take this but my friends who did, like it enough.

6) Herbal Duck Soup - I know...how is herbal duck soup a Penang dish right? But it's really tasty so I'll close an eye. I must say that the soup was a little to oily as it's cooked with duck meat.

7) Nonya Kueys - I personally no like kueys but my friends could not stop raving about how 'Melt-in-the-mouth' they were.

8) Yam Sago - this dessert was also very very yummy! The rich coconut flavor with hints of sago bits made me return for seconds and thirds. I couldn't stop!!!

9) Fridge full of cold desserts - during my returns for the yam sago, I noticed that there was a boy opening the doors of a glass fridge and wondered why this boy so rude, open the fridge of the restaurant! Then it dawned on me that there were MORE chilled desserts INSIDE the fridge! With this new discovery, I couldn't not take one. I had a Jap jelly with a piece of longan in it. Nice!

Penang Place has not let me down yet and I will definitely return for more Penang yumz fix!!
