Having been patronizing to their chain stores for coffee and toast often, this time I tried their nasi lemak with homemade barley. First glance of the meal served, it was so so. First try the rice, fragrance with a tad of coconut milk, not too strong or mild, rice was cooked to the right consistency. Chicken wing was warm and crispy outside, marinated with right taste. Fried egg was too dry. Peanuts and ikan bilis was fine. Chilli should be the main sauce to note, a bit sweet and spicy with fragrance of dried prawn, not bad though. Overall taste was just fine. Yet there is room to improve for overall taste. I would say famous nasi lemak selling at hawker stalls win over this one. For a causal meal, this is a good choice.
