It was not crowded on a Friday workday, probably due to renovations going on in Suntec City. The variety and spread of Kushinbo was the same as usual. My impression of Kushinbo had always been one of quality and quantity. Being a small eater, I picked only a few items to eat. I was the most excited about dessert as there was a really big section dedicated to desserts. The unqiue dessert tray added to my excitment. However, do not judge a book by its cover. Most of the desserts did not taste half as good as they look, the most disappointing being the mochi, which is one of my favourite Japanese snack. The lime souffle, raspberry chocolate cake and roche chocolate were the only desserts that I finished.
Overall, the ambience, service and food were fine, except the desserts. It did not leave me with the craving to come back for more. There is a 10% discount for senior citizens and about a 30% savings if you take the 1 hour package but we did not, as 1 hour really wasn't enough for us.
