I was with my clique of girlfriends, heading for teabreak and we just came across this place while we are driving. The name was pretty unique and cool. Check out the place, pretty nice & comfy. Frangipane Fruit Tart ($6.20)

As pleasing to the eyes, hints of the fruit aroma surfaced from the almond cream tart and this was definitely one of my favorites from the cafe. This crowd did provide a significant enough impression with its pleasant tart notes and we spooned up every bit of it within seconds.

Passionfruit Meringue Tart ($6.20)

An elegant- looking treat that lived up to its expectations, I was so tempted to try it out as personally, I LOVE PASSION FRUITS! Over by the sharp passionfruit curd snuggled within the shortcrust shell. One of the more memorable numbers from Carpenter and Cook, the contrasting textural layers of the pastry comfort.

Savoury Brioche Bun ($6.50)

A gratifyingly soft, squishy home- made bun with slightly crispy edges around the sides, went along fine with the seasonal ingredients that were topped in the centre. For the overall pleasure as derived from it, this is definitely a little too pricey for the serving.

Ham and Cheese Quiche ($7.00)

Notoriously hard to get it right at times. Held together by crumbly buttery pastry crust, the light and fluffy cheesy custard filling was appropriately stuffed with bits of ham. My only complaint would be that it could have been warmed up for a longer period of time since it became chilled a little too quickly.
