Next to Kuriya Japanese Fresh Fish Market, lies a rather small outlet of Wadori. Wadori sells a variety of Yakitori. Yakitori is grilled chicken speared on sticks. There is also chicken skin on stick available too.

Looking at the rows of sticks of meat, which look so mouth watering and juicy with the dark sauce dipping around. I order 1 stick of Tsukune (chicken balls) ($1.40) and 1 stick of Renkon Tsukune (minced chicken with lotus root) ($1.90). The aunty dips the sticks into a pot of sauce before packing them into a plastic bag for me.

The meat of both sticks taste rather dry and tough. Even the sauce cannot save it. Renkon Tsukune is better out of the 2 sticks, as the lotus root provides a extra cruchiness to the texture.
