After my work, I went to the nearby hawker centre to tabao rice back home. I usually order two vegetable dishes and one meat dish for my vegetable rice as it provides a more balanced meal. Today, I got the bittergourd which is stir-fried with egg, tofu cooked with minced meat and lastly, gong bao chicken. The gong bao chicken is unlike any other gong bao chicken that I had as the spiciness was totally absent. Otherwise, the taste is pretty alright. The tofu is very soft and it is very delicious

The tofu is very soft and it is very delicious when paired with the minced meat. The bittergourd today is also not too soft and the egg helps to add more flavour to the otherwise plain bittergourd.
