So my girlfriends and I decide to drive out for supper on a Friday night & Swee Choon was the first thing that came to our minds. We reached there around 1am and there were no more tables in the aircon area so we opted for the outside. Good food are worth the little sacrifice! First thing to order is always the Shanghai Xiao Long Bao -4pc ($3.50), we will never say no to these. Tasty succulent meat that are goodly packed in the little firm but thin soup dumplings. And then there's the Sichuan Chili Oil Wanton -4pc ($3.50) which is not too spicy but still delivers the right amount of flavours, a must try too.
The thing about Swee Choon is that the menu, however you look at it, it just never gets dull! There's always things that you can never get tired of and have to come back no matter how many times you've tried. The Salted Egg Yolk Custard Bun -3pc ($3.60) is what I highly rave about to people. I won't comment, but do judge by the golden filling!
We've also ordered a lot of other things that sums up our bill to around $68, for pax of 4 it was really cheap. It was up to the point where we were too full and couldn't finish. Definitely one of the the most affordable dim sum places in Singapore!
A wonderful place that I wish would remain for many years to come. Would definitely be nostalgic to return with old friends or family for any form of gathering!
