Few months ago, a friend of mine bought this glutinous rice for us to share, it was love at first BITE! I love glutinous rice and asked her where was the stall, she told me simply one could easily spot the queue, that was the stall!

As we all know there are so many stalls at the Chinatown Complex Market, I was wondering could I be able to find the stall. While I was browsing, it is really easy as the stall name is telling what it is. I followed the queue, roughly waited for 15mins+/-. The lady before me was ordering 20packs at $1.2 in one go! My turn, I ordered 2x$2. Seeing the uncle’s momentum in scooping the rice + fried onion + sesame oil, it is mechanic!

Glutinous rice is steam to perfect texture, rice grain is individually, crystal clear, not too soft nor hard, dancing in between your teeth! Fried onion, I would guess it is prepared by their own, they are fresh and not burnt, crumble not mashed. Peanut is soft and creamy.

Overall, taste is just right, you could still taste the rice natural sweetness and yet mildly saltiness, combination of all these ingredients enhance each flavour, perfect match. Definitely worth the waiting time!
