This brand needs no introduction but having recently visited their Bugis+ outlet after my last dinning experience with them which has been many years back, I was equally surprised at the quality of the buffet vis-a-vis its price.

During these hard-times, buffets are no longer the same. We have to select the food which is then delivered to us. Service was good as the items were delivered very quickly. The soups are still the same as I use to remember it - tasty! Kudos to Sukiya for being able to retain the quality of food. 
I filled myself with countless servings of small and large cubes of beef. Didn't find the pork slice that great but the beef more than made up for it. Vegetables were fresh and service was good at this outlet.

Sukiya has never been known for its spread of its buffer offerings but what can we expect for this price level? I thoroughly enjoyed my dinning experience and I told myself that I will be back more often. 

This is not my first time dinning here but every visit is satisfying. Very surprised no one has given a review which I feel is long overdue.The steaks are amongst the best in Singapore in my humble opinion.  Bonus is they certainly know how to cook their steaks. My choice of medium rare is always cooked to perfection.   Side dishes are fixed i.e. fresh garden salad and a choice of truffle fries or mash potatoes. I would recommend the mas potatoes.  If you are looking for no-frills steaks, this is certainly the place.

Me and three of my vaccinated friends wanted buffet on a Friday, after a long week and we decided on Thai mookata. Where else except Golden Mile and we were on our way.To our surprise, the place was quite busy with people. Safe-distancing ambassadors were in sight so that gave us added comfort.  Selection of good was served as ordered. Food is fresh and location of Ninja is in the main foyer so it gives the feeling of outdoor dinning minus the humidity.  Spread of food is good with my favourite crayfish. Red meat such as pork aand beef were well marinated and delicious. Although dinning was allowed for 2 hours, they were not time-watchers and we were there beyond the allowed 2 hours, well fed and fully satisfied.  Highly recommended for mookata buffet.

Canopy is an awesome place for casual dinning. Nestled right in the heart of bishan park, most diners (if not all) are casually dressed and with their dogs. Yes - this place is pet friendly, so be prepared for occasional dog hostilities. Food is a little pricy but ambiance, quality of food and service makes up for it. Menu is limited but this is what you get for a casual dinning place. Red meat dishes are little short given the price so I would recommend to stay away. Burgers are good but my favourite is the chicken parmigiana. Serving is generous with big slab of chicken (breast meat) and rich in cheese. House wines are also great and a good compliment for my favourite dish. Totally at ease here with no time pressure. 

The burgers and sandwiches are all pretty large portions, so we were really full after our meal. I had the seasonal fish sandwich while my partner had the Italian hero. Both were really tasty! Next time I go, I want to try the hot honey chicken sandwich. They also have a good selection of sides. We had a portion of the tater tots and could not finish it on top of our sandwiches.

Soon Kee Wanton Mee Stall is also one of the popular stalls in Pek Kio Market & Food Center where one notices the queue line up in front of the stall. So what's the fuss? Let's take a look at it.Though the bigger portion was just a $0.50 difference, I find that the portion was rather generous not only for the noodles but also the slices of char siew. The noodles were slightly thicker than the usual Mee Kia I had and was springy. The sauce they use was slightly different from the usual ones we have and indeed, it has a familiar old school taste. Besides that, the Char Siew was home made too.While the Wanton comes in 3 in the soup bowl.The other item on their menu will be their shrimp dumpling noodle instead.Shrimp Dumplings are plump and juicy for instance, however nothing extraordinary about the fillings and taste.Have no idea what to eat in Pek Kio Market & Food Center? Perhaps following the length of the queue from the stall may be a good guide to make a choice of your meal.

A cosy bar tucked in the neighbourhood of Novena serving a decent variety of food and drinks. Tried their sparkling sake and black angus striploin, both were really good 👍🏼 Service crew were very friendly too. Will recommend this place to hangout! 😊

Weekends are meant for good meals and with the sibling's recommendation, we have agreed to head down to Ang Mo Kio Hong Kong Street Zhen Ji for a Cze Char dinner despite the heavy downpour.Hong Kong Street Zhen Ji

The dish was a noteworthy item just as recommended on their menu. Cuttlefish given was generous and was soft and chewable while the Sambal was not too spicy together with the cut pieces of Fried Kang Kong.Fried Kang Kong Sambal with Cuttlefish 鱿鱼蕹菜 - $12
Large chunks of fish meat with slices of ginger and vegetables together with thick bee hoon are the usual sights that we expect from Cze Char's stall Fish Meat Noodle Soup. I was rather disappointed with the soup as it was rather bland without much taste but on a good note, usage of MSG is minimal.Sum Kee Fish Meat Noodle Soup 珍记鱼肉粗米粉 - $7
The pork ribs are indeed very flavourful with sweetness and sour taste. It was intense and the amount of meat given was generous. It's recommended just as what they state on their menu.Sum Kee Pork Ribs 珍记排骨王 - $10

It was a tasty and recommended dish on its menu but, to be honest, it's good but not to die for as there are better ones out there.Fish Slices and Bean Sprouts

The exterior texture of the roll was indeed very thin and crispy, unlike what I had in most Cze Char Stall. As for its fillings, its rather ordinary, pairing up with the sweet sauce provided.Crispy Prawn Roll 珍记虾枣 - $10
Though the cereal prawn was packed with fragrance and hints of milk powder, we still find that the taste of prawns was kind of lacking and bland. Cereal Prawn 香脆麦片虾 - $22

With some hits and misses, if I'm going for popular dishes like San Lao Hor Fun, Fish Meat Noodle Soup and Crispy Prawn Roll, I will most likely go to the usual Holland Village XO Fish Head Bee Hun. However, their menu was rather standard and not with a variety like Hong Kong Street. In addition, with so many dishes ordered, we felt that the price was reasonable & pocket friendly for a popular Cze Char place like this. It is definitely a good place for a family meal during the weekends and do note that reservations can be made in advance for big groups only.

Inspirasi is a well known Malay Stall in Bedok Interchange Hawker Center as they have a long history. Look into the queue and the surrounding tables, you will get to see many Maciks and Pakciks. The stall menu has only 4 items, Mee Rebus, Soto Ayam, Mee Soto and chicken Porridge. We hardly get to have $2.50 per bowl nowadays and in fact, most of the minimum price in a hawker centre is about $3. I had topped up my bowl of Mee Soto with Begedil. The Begedil comes in a round shape size like a fishball and was rather ordinary. However, talking about the Mee Soto, the soup has a very old school taste and to my liking. Even though the portion was $2.50, patrons are not short-changed on the amount of shredded chicken. We bought another popular item on the menu too, Mee Rebus and topped it up with 2 begedils. The sweet peanut gravy too has a familiar old school taste of childhood and its really comforting. Comparing the price per item, I would say the food is worth the queue even though its the best I had around. Since my not residing in the East, I would not purposely go back for their dinners but still, its a good experience to know such traditional tastes still exist.

我在点餐的时候没有点小菜和要湿纸巾，当时后来有位服务员直接把花生米和小菜直接放到我们的桌子上然后在我的菜单上勾出来，也没有说明是否收费。后来我问服务员为什么我没有点会上来小菜啊？是收费的吗？然后她回答上来的时候你没问吗？我也没有说什么了。过后有个其他服务员问怎么了，她就说出事情的原委然后一起笑，我感觉到了侮辱和气愤😡 花生和小吃不是我们要的然后服务员 就 直接就加上去了，

Came here for lunch. They do a very affordable pancake set for someone who wants to have something savoury before digging into pancakes. I ordered the set that comes with sausages, salad, and potato mash. Honestly I think they could do better with the sausages but the shop focuses on pancakes so not complaining. Shop is not crowded even at peak lunchtime so great for personal space. Pancakes come with syrup which I poured generously all over the plate. Complimented well with the 80% cooked melt-in-your-mouth pancakes. Coffee was good too (a fan of black coffee). Although I felt the portion was a bit small at first, I actually found myself quite full after eating everything. Will come back for the pancakes and Japanese background music.

The  laksa gravy was thick and super flavourful, the thick meehoon was so smooth. They also sell  delicious prawn noodle. But i prefer their laksa. The young boss there also very friendly.  i'm  addicted to it because it is super yummy.

I’ve definitely seen the better days of laobeijing and it has definitely declined drastically over the last year. Conclusion: rude staff, lousy service, mediocre food We waited for an hour for our food to be served and the staff did not care one bit while all the other tables have finished their meal, we finally got our small portion food served. The big disappointment was the duck where they just slice the duck from the kitchen and threw the carcass out (without informing you where the rest of the duck you paid is going to the bin) where as other restaurants will serve the carcass as standard. Staff were very unhelpful, turns a blind eye and deaf ear to anything you ask for, and definitely did not do anything to help. Juts utterly disappointed by the service and the quality and quantity of food, will not recommend anyone to visit this restaurant to avoid disappointment

The BBQ meats were of good quality and I especially enjoyed the jjajangmyeon. We also ordered the Kimchi Jjigae is great for sharing. It is a tad pricey but the food is well worth. You should Book in advance or you’ll find yourself waiting in a long line!

Delicious food but sometimes long wait times unless you book in advance. I recommend booking one week before - to save time - eat at the counter instead of a table then you can cut the queue as many ppl are waiting for a table. Check out my full English below which was great but I only got a few small beans with it - not very English I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis as breakfast food is my favourite food. Oh one thing you might find inconvenient is having to order everything through your phone and adding all your cc details etc, its a bit of a pain but the service is generally speedy and good.
