What are beer growlers?

Beer growlers are beautiful tinted glass bottles perfect for take-away. Each storing 1.89L (or approximately 4 pints) of “amber nectar” goodness, they are the ultimate party partners for any occasion. Brown glass is used to protect the beer from UV rays, assuring that the freshest possible beer is contained within the growler. A sealed growler can be kept for up to a week as long as it is placed in the refrigerator.

Unique draft beer flavors

From the four German draft beers offered for takeaway to customers at Amber Nectar, we can't help but take note of Aecht Schelnkerla Rauchbier – Mӓrzen ($48 per growler / $43.20 for refill*, 5.1% ABV) that is distinctly characterized by the aroma of smoked sausage, bacon, light fruit as well as smoky cheese! Currently, Joo Bar, Salute Casual Dining, The Tiong Bahru Club and The Namly Club also offer growlers and refilling services.
