These are the faces of people who are excited to try out what's on the menu
For another food tasting session, we brought our 9 lucky OpenRicers to check out what this new café at Holland Village has to offer. On first impression, owner Mike Chin really went all out to make the place as cosy as possible, highlighted by big and comfy chairs to sit on. There are also swing sets which are a popular location for couples.
As soon as the invited OpenRicers were able to take in the view, they settled in their seats and looked forward to their coffee-tasting session. As explained by Mike, d’Good Café believes in the saying “Blend & Brew the way you like it”. This only means that customers have the freedom to create their own coffee drinks from single beans sourced around the world. With the use of special brewing machines, the beans are roasted to perfection every day.
One thing unique about d'Good Cafe is that it allows customers to "blend and brew the way you like it"
But of course, with the OpenRicers, they had a special drinks menu lined up for them which started with the Caffe Latte, Cappuccino, Piccolo Latte, and Caramel Cream Frappe.
The grub (clockwise from top left): the English Breakfast, Fresh Sea Prawn Aglio Olio, Eggs Benedict, and Japanese Curry Chicken
Of course, it won’t be called an OpenRice food tasting if there was no food. So to complement all these drinks, the members were served with 4 items from the all-day breakfast menu: the English Breakfast, Eggs Benedict, Fresh Sea Prawn Aglio Olio, and the Japanese Curry Chicken.

Overall, the OpenRicers had an enlightening coffee-tasting experience where the members got to try what real coffee tasted like.
