Finer cuts of Halal meats can be found at the spanking new The Royals Steakhouse on Arab Street. The Royals group was established in 2003 as a bakery catering to hotels and restaurants. Since then, they have expanded and the group currently has two physical café outlets and this steakhouse under their belt. All their offerings are 100% Halal-certified and the restaurant group has been a trusted brand in the Muslim community for almost 9 years. Tantalizing Menu Items

It is highly recommended to start your meal off with these delicious Homemade Crab Cakes ($12, pictured). Packed compactly with delicious crab meat, then deep fried to a golden crisp, this duo will certainly incite your taste buds for the delicious grilled steaks to come. Signature Grilled Steaks

The one unique selling point of the steaks here are that they are grilled bare, without any seasoning of salt or pepper. Instead, you season the meats yourself when served. Each order of steak comes with a choice of homemade sauces (caramelised onion sauce, black pepper sauce or mushroom sauce), together with a trio of salts (sea salt, chili salt and pepper salt). Their Cote De Boeuf ($68 for 2, 700g, pictured) is a limited edition item that has already been a hit with customers. The Royals Steakhouse uses the rib cut of top quality Halal Australian 150-day grain-fed Black Angus Beef for this dish. Preparation time for this gorgeous cut of steak takes about 20 minutes and will be cooked to your preferred doneness. Beside just steaks, The Royals Steakhouse offers mains like – Lamb Chops, Norwegian Salmon and a ridiculously good looking Bad Boy Burger ($22, above). Burgers are hard to ace but upon the first bite of this stunning patty sandwiched between freshly toasted buns, a runny sunny side up egg, cheese, caramelised onions and sweet relish; we gobbled it up entirely.
