Indulge in authentic Penang food fare prepared by Penang hawkers without stepping out of the country at the 30th anniversary of the acclaimed Penang Hawkers’ Fare.
The renowned Penang buffet at White Rose Cafe in York Hotel features free-flow servings of traditional Penang dishes from Penang Laksa and Char Kway Teow to Oyster Omelette at $29++ onward. As of this year, there will also be a new specialty that you can look forward to- the Pasembur, a salad infused with Chinese and Indian influences. Diners can also anticipate close-up live cooking of Penang dishes with the new open kitchen feature.
For the passionate home cooks, learn how to whip up Penang dishes such as Penang Prawn Mee, Penang Laksa and Ban Chang Kueh at exclusive cooking workshops on 12 and 19 March. A nominal fee of $12 will be collected from participants, who will then receive a $12 dining voucher at White Rose Cafe.
