I will always go Ren Ren when I am in Katong doing my mani/pedicure ...... I love the concept a small eatery house that sell dessert and some food. Hubby try their chendul and is also to my liking not too sweet just nice as for me I go for Fu zhu bai guo ... very decent taste thumbs up! We also ordered one plate of chee cheong fun to go with our dessert cos normally if I am there on a weekend it was always sold out no chance to eat! Ren Ren is a good place to have desserts if you are going to Teo Heng and after a meal in katong shopping centre. It offers traditional desserts, and I have tried their mango pudding which was alright. I had their gui ling gao this time, which is quite reasonably priced at $3+. It came with a bottle of syrup, which you can pour to sweeten the gui ling gao. The gui ling gao was average, and not too bitter.

Ren Ren Desserts sells affordable chinese desserts, and is a good place to stop for desserts after a meal. I settled on the mango pudding, a common thus safe choice. The presentation of the mango pudding was also good, and the pieces of mango were also sweet and fragrant. One can't really go wrong with mango pudding. The pudding was also not soggy, and wasn't too sweet.

After our dinner, we passby the shop, look like newly open as they still hung a red cloth over the stall signage.There is only a few table s inside for you to sit, guess must be good as they may like to limit the customer to eat in the place.Anyway if you speak cantonese, the stall uncle can explain the dessert they sell there.We order the Gui Ling Guo at $3.40 and Yam Paste at $2.90The pricing of the dessert is reasonable.Gui Ling Guo come with a bottle of wine but is sugar syrup inside.
