Stuck in a trap of smokey scent from a grilled chicken wings stall, we forced to be sitting down and checked it out. Absolutely, it was the best way to advertise their food. Piping hot chicken wings served straight to your table has got to a great perk of dining at this hawker centre. During peak hours, the wait can be up to half an hour or even more, completely demonstrating the popularity of these delicious goodness. The chicken wings are fragrant and well-marinated and the chilli that comes with it has just that bit of spicy kick that leaves you craving for more.

My mum bought home some chicken wings from the famous stall at Bedok 85; I haven't been there since it was renovated though. This stall is one of the more popular stalls selling chicken wings, at one for $1.30. The chicken wings were a little soggy when they got home, but they were still very tasty and well grilled. Meat was also very tender and easily detachable. I preferred the wings to the drum sticks as the meat is more tender.

Visited the newly renovated 85 Fengshan Food Centre on a Saturday night at 10pm. While we were waiting for our Bak Chor Mee from Xing Ji Rou Cuo Mian 兴记肉脞面, we ordered the the BBQ Grilled Chicken Wings from Sin Bedok North BBQ Chicken Wings 勿洛北烤鸡翅.The BBQ Grilled Chicken Wings cost $1.30 each and each time you order, you would need to order a minimum of two chicken wings. The order came almost instant as it was in the late afternoon and there wasn't many people at the food centre yet. The chicken wings were well barbaqued, fresh and well marinated. Looked really appetising and of course tasted good. I also love the chilli sauce, which was quite spicy but went really well with the chicken. However, i find it quite pricey, 1.30 per chicken wing.

The chicken wings that night is slightly burnt.Normally it is alright to have some blacker grilled parts to give it a stronger grilled fragrant taste but for that day it is a little over grilled.The burnt part is mostly on the drumlet and that makes it a little bitter and hard.The meat is still as nice though, after we removed the blacker burnt areas.The meat flavor is strong and nicely marinated, and the meat is tender and juicy ;DThe chicken skin has the grilled fragrance too and is a little c

Their chicken wing is always a Must Have whenever there is soccer match to watch in the evening... Grilled skin with juicy tender meat on the inside. My wife and I always order early around 5.30pm to avoid long waiting time (we noted that, at least half an hour of waiting time if we order around 6pm). i must say after trying a few stalls that sell bbq chix wing, chong pang huat is the one that constantly pleases, the standard at its different franchise outlet is pretty consistent. Its usually slightly charred and cost $1.20. I like the fact that the chix wing do not have the uncooked inner portion like some other stalls. Also i think the chilli provided does bring out the flavour of the well grilled wing.
