The western food stall at the coffeeshop is quite popular and sells quite a variety of western food. The stall has a self serve system which one pays as you order, and collect the food yourself when it is ready.  Golden Rooster ($12.90)
It takes quite awhile for this dish to be ready. It smells great with some smoky herb smell from the fire. With such a name golden rooster, father is expecting a roasted chicken. So he is quite disappointed when it turns out to be a deep fried chicken and such a small sized one furthermore. But I think he like it as he even order beer to enjoy it with.

 It is served with tasty buttered toasts, fries, coleslaw, potato salad and a tangy sauce.

The chicken is served with a stand which little JJ has great fun turning it. Mom is hinting that we should get one, as it looks nice serving roasted chicken to guests.

 Half BBQ chicken Rice ($3.80)
The chicken is quite juicy with very thin and crispy skin. It is served chicken flavoured rice and coleslaw.

Overall it is quite an experience having the golden rooster. We will be back for it again.

The coffeeshop at blk 925 has just gone through a makeover. Most of the stalls remains the same, except for the western food stall has changed. The menu is similar to the old stall, but now there is also pasta dishes available too.Half char grilled chicken rice ($5.50)The dish is served with coleslaw. The rice tastes like the usual chicken rice type, flavourful and oily. The grilled chicken is abit tough, but quite meaty. The skin is very thin and crispy.
