Ordered a plate of Fried prawn noodles for $3.50. There were a number of awards displayed so I decided to try it. The taste of the hokkien mee was rather strong and fragrant. The broth used to cook for good. It came with 4 half medium sized prawns and a few slices of sotong. The chilli was salty by itself but when mixed with the noodles, it blended in perfectly and I really enjoyed this meal. Recommended :)Read More

One of the famous “Fried Prawn Noodle” stall in Singapore, Ho Huat continuously made their effort to improve the reputation throughout the years. Waited quite a long time for it during this peak lunch hour, rewarded a delicious noodle at the end. Ingredients covered Prawns, Squids, Fried Egg and Beansprouts, I squeezed the lime at first once it came. Even it looked a bit soggy yet the chef managed to retain the springy touch over the noodles. Chilli Paste was spicy and added awesome taste for every single bite. Definitely affordable price at $4.00, it was a nice and filling lunch.Read More

Ho Huat Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee has been around for quite sometime in Boon Lay Place Market & Food Village. They are specialized in 2 kinds of dishes, Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee and Fried Rice. Just these 2 dishes alone are famous enough to attract the customers and keep them returning. Boon Lay Place Market & Food Village had recently reopened due to its renovation works. Not much changes can be seen from the environment but some stalls are seen relocated.Ho Huat's plate of fried hokkien mee was rather unique and has its own style in taste. The stock they had used was quite clear with the noodles. Moist and tasty enough with added sufficient amount of seafood (prawns & sotongs). Squeeze the lime over the plate to add a refreshing taste to the dish. The sambal chilli tastes great on both its prawn mee and fried rice.Cost: S$4.00Read More

Was on my maiden visit to this hawker centre and is in awe with the selection of food that is readily to impress me.Went to this specific stall for their fried rice and I was spot on with the end result! The fried rice is fragrant and not oily in any bits. The ingredients are all fresh and generous with no restriction on the portion. Lastly to finish on this plate of warmth, their home made sambal chili sauce that would go well with any food!Your choice of selection on your next visit to this hawker stall!www.myfoodmyblog.wordpress.comRead More
