My craving for Taiwanese street food brought me here to order their Sweet Plum Potato Fries. I had the real deal in Taiwan and I was craving for another serving of crispy sweet potato fries covered in plum powder. The portion of fries was pretty small, and individual fries were more on the thin and scrawny side. The fries were powdered but it was not the plum flavour I was anticipating, just some flavour I couldn't discern. Perhaps my expectations were set too high, but I was it really fell short from its Taiwanese counterpart.

Shihlin Taiwan's Mee Sua is DELICIOUS!!The thick flavourful gravy together with the slurpy mian xian taste yummy! The oysters given is also fresh and juicy. Though it may be a big portion, you can definitely eat at least 3/4 of the bowl in no time!! (that's what happened to me) haha~Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks also sell the Big, Fried Chicken Cutlet that taste somewhat like the actual ones in Taiwan, and other snacks like the cheese crepes and sweet potato fries!! However, my favourite snack would still be the Oyster Mee SuaYou should definitely try out this bowl of noodles if you haven't! Price would be $3.50 for one bowl.

It is raining and you're cold. You put on layers of tshirts, a jacket, and your wool (okay, that's a tad too much), but it still can't keep you warm, I suggest you head to the nearest Shihlin near you. Hands down, they've got the best Oyseter Mee Sua I've ever! To be honest, I hated Mee Sua until I had Shihlin's. Now, I'm in love with it. For three dollars and eighty cents, you get a bowl of heavenly oyster mee sua! Mixed in it is parsley, finely chopped chicken, chili and how can I forget! The three fresh oysters swimming on top! Ciao! I need to get my bowl now.

I had XXL chicken bento for dinner that day. I seldom buy it but I happened to pass this outlet and smelled its fragrance so I gave in and bought the bento. The big piece of chicken was cut into many smaller pieces. At first, it was superbly delicious, hot and spicy together with the seasoning however, the more I ate, the more saltier it became and I soon had enough of it. Furthermore, it made my throat painful due to the heat and the chili pepper.

This new stall is located in between Pasir Ris' MRT station and Bus Terminal. During evening time, you usually see a short queue for this eatery; I personally do not think all the food they serve can suit our local taste. This time I try on the Taiwan’ so call famous snack; the oyster mian xian with shredded chicken meat, the taste of the soup is alright, but is a bit salty to me. It contains of mee sua, shredded chicken meat and a few pieces of oyster which the size is quite big and fresh juicy are added and blend well with the mee sua. It does not fill my stomachs full. The noodle they serve is quite a small bowl for the price of $3.80 per bowl. It can only treat as an afternoon snack or night supper.
