This morning I decided to come here to get something for breakfast on the way to the bus interchange. As it is still early and the buns are not yet ready, I decide to get a Mango Strudel ($1.20/pc) from the fridge. There is also Durian Strudel ($3.00/pc) available on sale. The puff pastry is light and airy. But the filling tastes very faint of mango and have too much whipped cream.

I am walking to the community centre when I see the aunty packing freshly made buns. I decide to get 3 pieces of buns(hot dog, curry and yam) at $2.00 for breakfast. As the buns are freshly made, they are soft and fluffy inside. The curry is not too spicy and the potato cubes inside are quite soft. The yam bun is purplish inside with sweet yam filling. The buns are simple and tasty.

Walked past this bakery and attracted by its nostalgic feel, i stopped by to get something for snack and breakfast tomorrow. I decided to get some curry buns. It tasted rather old school, the bread was soft with a nice buttery taste and aromatic curry potato filling in it. A very simple curry bun from such a neighborhood bakery can be an ideal choice for coffee break or breakfast in the morning.I enjoyed it.

Not your average neighborhood cake shop!Sells various traditional pastries and various cakes, Their specialty should be the meat floss bread w/ mayonnaise, egg/ ham. They do not sell individual buns like traditional neighborhood cake shops, instead they sell the bread in 1 whole loaf which can serve up to around 8 pieces.
