Stayed near the hawker centre and came across this stall named Hongkong Porridge and decided to take away the porridge $1.60 and mee hoon $1, curry puff $1, fried yam cake $1.50 and glutinous rice $1.50. The porridge is authentic Hongkong style that doesn't 'produce' water even after long time. The mee hoon is tasty and you would not feel thirsty after eating. The yam cake and the glutinous rice is homemade with good texture and fragrance. The best is the curry puff, generous filling of chicken meat n potato with crispy outer crust and always sold out as mentioned by other customers. In my opinion taste better than other brands available in SG. I would love to see them having more varieties in their side dishes for bee hoon and Maggie mee. You will not find such low price with the quality of food they are offering. Decided to google for other reviews and chance upon this site that has this stall highlighted. Highly recommended.
