I still remember that Lao Ban soya bean is a stall that I found that is very popular in selling tao huay few years back where long queue can be seen. Up till now, I am glad that after a few years Lao Ban soya bean has opened several outlets apart from their main branch at old airport road hawer centre. The quality of their almond flavoured tao huay still remains with the melt in the mouth sensation, a much soft and smooth texture compared to the traditional tao huay and a very aromatic almond flavour. Apart from selling tao huay, Lao ban soya bean has also started to sell soya bean drinks and also grass jelly dessert which I have yet to try. Price wise is still the same as compared to a few years back. Thumbs up!!

So happy to know that there's a lao ban stall near my house! I walked past it a couple of times but always never had the time to stop by and buy some home! I still like the original beancurd ($1.50) compared to other flavours. It's smooth, milky and silky to taste! There's a short queue when I went to buy but it moved really fast because there's no preparation of food as the beancurd are already packed in the plastic containers.

There is totally no queue when i went on a weekend, even though it is located at a busy location within the bus interchange. The prices are the same as the original Lao Ban at old airport road, pricing at $1.50 for the normal flavor, and $2 for the almond ones. The taste wise is similar as well, with the same silky texture and sweetness. The bad point is that there is no seats or table nearby for consumption.
