Needed a hearty local breakfast the other day so i decided to grab some at whampoa food centre. The beehoon from this stall was pretty average, being flavourful enough but nothing outstanding. It was not too greasy which was a plus point. The toppings i added were chicken wings which were fried well such that they retained juicyness. Each wing costs $1 which is pretty ok. The sausages also cost $1 each.

The Lor Mai Fan here is pretty good, such that my family always patronizes this stall. The only thing is that the stall is always closed so you really have to depend on your luck that day. The lor Mai fan is tasty and sticky and comes plain. Although plain it is full of flavor and it's simplicity is a draw as well. Comes with chilli sauce for those that like their dish spicy and with some kick! The Yam cake is worth a try too!
