after hospital visit,i come here for lunch, actually wanna try the chicken rice but queue was too long ,saw this stall with no much queue so decided to try this i had the fried ebi and salmon seti was quite disappointed, ebi was nice, well fried, but fried chicken was not,no taste, chicken was not fresh, for my salmon set,the salmon was very hard,it is left overnight one, their homemade sauce was weird too,for the price of $6.50-7 at a wet market kind stall,it's consider expensive, though not much queue but i waited for 20mins plus to get my 2 set of lunchservice was ok,the auntie was nice, remember my order... 繼續閱讀

I was attracted by the striking signboard of this stall that served the different types of Japanese Don. Most of the selection are reasonably priced at $4. The stall was manned by a friendly lady on that day. She took my order of a Chicken Katsu Don while preparing the order for the customer right before me. The chicken katsu was deep fried upon order. I waited for a good 5 minutes before i gotten my order. A good portion of Japanese short grain rice was served with the egg and onion cooked in mirin based sauce. The piece of beautifully deep fried chicken cutlet was then placed on it. It was topped with a handful of shredded dry seaweed before served. The texture of rice was nicely soft and rather moist too. The chicken cutlet was of the right thickness and fried well to give it a noticeable crispiness. It was then chopped into a few pieces. The level of saltiness of the mirin based sauce was just right and the egg and onion cooked in it was of a good amount. The portion was enough for lunch.A small bowl of miso soup was served along with the rice don. The miso soup tasted nice though a little saltish with bits of tofu and seaweed in it. It was served hot. That is definitely a good effort. I am very much against those lukewarm soup that i encountered. I would not mind trying the rest on their menu next time. 繼續閱讀
