Tried the braised duck rice. A bit disappointed because they use the white rice and no yam rice. The braised sauce was not bad. The meat got soya sauce fragrant and also not too tough nor salty. They deboned the duck meat so easier to eat. The chilli is nothing special. I prefer to have it without the chilli. The rice is enough for lunch. The soup got herbal taste so quite nice.

This is one of the stalls in this food centre that have got a consistent queue especially during the lunch time and weekends. I was here for an early lunch on a weekday. I decided to try it for the first time.I ordered a basic serving of braised duck rice for $3. A good portion of well-braised duck breast meat was served with slices of cucumber. It was served with plain rice with quite a portion of braised sauce over it. The soup that served along with the braised duck rice has got a rather slight herbalish taste. The chilli tasted quite average. It tasted like those chilli for kway chap with just the right level of spiciness to complement it. The queue started to get longer when i done eating.This is not the best braised duck rice and i am not likely to go back.
