I brought my son there because he loves to eat 小笼包, whereas my favourite dish there is their 小菜,so I ordered two plates of 小菜, 芝麻菠菜,腐竹虾饼, 红烧牛腩面 and 小笼包(ten inside). We had chinese tea, each pax at $1 (refillable). This dish has shredded see weed, bean curd, spring onion, chilli, dang hoon marinated with special sauce, yum yum! super delicious! I find the vegetables difficult for me to chew, but I still like this dish. This prawn cake has lots of prawn pieces inside, fresh and juicy. The beef pieces were very soft and the soup was very thick and rich, could feel the "stickiness" aftertaste after drinking the soup, the noodle was springy too, but I find this dish a bit pricey. My son's all time favourite!Take a bite, drink the soup and eat the rest with shredded ginger in vinegar sauce!Big seating area and they provide a stand for customers to place their bags inside.Read More

A outing to din tai fung really makes me happy even though I was not feeling well at all. I was having a slight flu and everything seems bland to me. I ordered their dumpling soup noodles which can keep me warm during my cold. The nice hot bowl of noodles arrive, it was very comforting. The soup tasted quite tasty and the wanton was really good. it is not open up by itself. The noodles were quite qq too as well. A delicious meal for the sick me!Read More

We went there to celebrate mums birthday, it was extremely crowded at 6pm. We had to wait for almost half an hour in order to get our seat.Din Tai Fung are always very limited, we ordered a little bit from each to share among the 5 of us. Don't order too much if you're not a big eater, as most of their items are made of flour, so it would be very filling.Staffs were not very friendly, you don't attend to you unless you call them for a few times.Well, food wise, not bad. Would go back again. You've got to try their drunkard chicken, it taste extremely nice!Read More

Can't imagine that a plate of plain stir fried vegetable can cost more than a bowl of noodles. Though the Dou Miao from Din Tai Fung tastes quite good, I find that it is over-priced. Personally I don't think I will pay $11.80++ again for this plate of vegetable, especially after I noted that it actually cost more than my main course which is the Cha Jiang Mian. The Cha Jiang Mian tastes kinda average / typical. If you are craving for flavorful noodles, you may like to order it.Read More

First time going to Din Tai Fung! And I swear I'm going back there for there xiao long bao soon! It's just so good!! This is the first time I eat xiao long bao, hence my review may not be that good. But I really love their xiao long bao! The right fragrant and with some vinegar.. It's just too perfect!! The sour and spicy soup is very nice as well! The right amount of thickness and abit of the sourness.. It taste so good and I don't even know what is it but I just want to drink more of it!The service is pretty good too, the waitress seeing that I hold a bag, told me to place my bag in a basket beside our table. She came to refill our water when we didn't ask for it also. The ambiance is good, sitting beside the window, I can choose to look out or look around at the nice cozy, chinese restaurant. It wasn't very costly as well, me and my friend spent about 30+ altogether With about 4 dishes.Read More

Where to eat the most delicious xiao long bao if you ask, i would tell you is "Ding Tai Fung", whenever we feel like eating xiao long bao, we will go over to ding tai fung and ordered the original xiao long bao of "Steamed pork dumplings" and "Steamed mashed red bean buns". the steamed pork dumplings taste nice as usual, whereas the mashed red bean buns is the first time trying. the red bean tastes authentic just that it may be a little too much for me since i am not a sweet lover :) therefore i will squeeze out abit of the red bean before finished up the whole thing. My first try on drunken chicken. The entire dish is cold. When i sink my teeth into it, it was PERFECT! The meat taste of wine, very fragrant and it is very succulent. You can eat it on its own or with rice. A definite must try! Not only that, the waitress are all very polite and helpful as well. From their accent, i assume most of them are China staffs.Read More

Some light snacksthe xiao long bao is very juicy, the soup is very tasty, the skin is not too thick yet the xiao long bao does not burst when you use chopstick the grab it. when you dip in vinegar, it is really very delicious! Tea was also served at 1 dollar per person which is free flow. My friends and i really like the xiao long bao. Their service is very good despite it being so crowded, our tea is always being refilled constantly so thumbs up to that.Read More

i met up with some of my jc friends and we headed to din tai fung so some afternoon tea. I was not too hungry as I just had a buffet lunch with another group of friends. So not to dampen the mood of everyone, I decided to order their hot and sour soup. it came in two sizes, I opted for the smaller size. The soup was very tasty, I spam a lot of vinegar, the toufu slices were very thinly sliced and very silky. Read More

Din Tai Fung is popular for their chinese dim sums and other Chinese cruisines such as their outstanding noodles and rice dishes. One of their popular dish is their xiao long bao. The skin is smooth and thin, and the minced meat inside is also tender and juicy. Great to eat with ginger sliced in black vinegar. Great to eat it with hot chinese tea. Their rice and noodle dishes are equally good as well. My verdict: 7/10Read More

Very fragrant "zha jiang mian". It is a chinese style handmade noodle mixed in minced meat and black sauce. I love the way it taste. There's tofu, mince meat, beans and alot of other ingredients. So far this is the best "zha jiang mian" i've had. The staffs are friendly too in finding out whether this dish is spicy or not. Don't worry, it is not spicy at all. I'm sure kids will love it!Read More

when i first ordered this, my boyfriend was shocked and could not imagine how this dish would turn out.for a red bean lover like me, this is a perfect dessert to end off the meal.the dumplings were filled with yummy thick red bean paste, and the skin was just nice, not too thick. however, it was served at the same time as our main course, by the time the red bean dumplings were eaten, the skin had cooled and became a little hard.overall, a good dish to order for red bean lovers like me! We went into this outlet in Tampines Mall as it was not crowded unlike those fast food outlets, although it was already passed lunch hour. Wanted something quick and easy to eat so I ordered their noodle soup with fried pork chop. My noodles was served quite promptly. The soup was quite tasteless although you can taste a hint of sweetness. But I can say that there was no msg, something healthy. The noodles were soft and easy to bite through. The best part will be the fried pork chop. Nicely fried and not dry. The meat was well marinated. Read More

Went to Din Tai Fung for lunch and ordered their speciality fried rice and xiao long bao. The fried rice with egg was nicely fried and got the chinese saying " Wok Hei" when we tried it. Portion was enough to be shared by two or three people. Their fried rice is a must try and you will know what "Wok Hei" im talking about...Next is the must try is their xiao long bao, which is very famous for their thin skin wrapped with meat and nice tasty stock in the bao. Best eaten with ginger and vinegar to bring out the flavours of the xiao long bao. Don't ever miss to order it when you are dining in Din Tai Fung. Read More

I never thought that Din Tai Fung could be described as value for money till this meal.We had a big bowl of sour spicy soup, a xiao cai (appetizer), 10pc xiaolongbao, 6pc yam bun, a prawn fried rice, a pork chop fried rice, and the total bill was less than $12/head inclusive of chinese tea (4 pax)! And we even have left-over.Xiaolongbao was as usual, up to standard but not impressive. yam bun was a good dessert choice. Surprisingly sour spicy soup was not too spicy, it used black pepper instead of chilli, nice~ I like the xiaocai very much too, appetizing~ Fried rice are both good, not too salty (last time they were very salty).Service was good, all very courteous & attentive. No complain good girl friends ;)Read More
