Bee Hiong Economic Rice (已結業)

Was holding a birthday party for my niece and decided to order bulk portion of fried kway teow from this stall as the uncle is friendly and also the price charged here is also quite reasonable. Glad to have order from this stall as everyone since to be really enjoying the fried kway teow from here. The kway teow is very smooth and chewy and full of the fragrant from the dark soya sauce used in it. Fortunately it blends in well with the home cooked hashbrowns, egg omelette and fried beancurds

I left half the portion of the rice untouched as i was not feeling well that day.I ordered the wrong items and they were abit too flavourful for me,i should have ordered something light like porridge but i was at the same time, afraid the porridge might be too bland for my liking.The big piece of taupok was too salty and the curry gravy drizzled on top of my rice was too spicy.I had to drink lots of water after eating.

I had a very good lunch and enjoyed the food alot.The potatoes were stewed to a soft consistency that i loved.The fried calamari rings were crispy on the outside and chewy in the inner.The green veggie was well cooked and tasty too.I would sure come back more frequently for this great economic rice.Good price good food.
