Billy Bombers American Diner (已結業)

To be honest, the food here weren't fantastic at all. This explains the "no queue" even during peak hours. I had a plate of fried food namely tempura prawns, wedges and breaded chicken. There are some vegetables and baby carrots at the side too. The entire dish didn't look appetising at all. The prawns were a little hard and it wasn't too fresh in my opinion. The breaded chicken was fine, nothing to rave about and wedges was normal. All in all, it was just normal.

This grilled chicken burger is very juicy and really thick and big in portion. Base on the appearance, The presentation looks really nice and colourful as well. The burger bun is soft and full of the fragrant from the natural wheat used in it. Even though the price may be abit towards the high side, but the portion provided by them is definitely filling and satisfying.

I had some light snacks for the day. The thick cut fries are drenched in melted cheese. CHEESE FRIES they called it! I love anything that goes with cheese and this was a little disappointing. The cheese aren't too thick and fragrant type. It was rather diluted and tasteless. There's no chives toppings as well. The entire dish is just plain yellowish and boring. Wouldn't order this again!

I ordered a glass of root beer float which includes a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream. It came together with an old vintage bottle glass. Nice! I had steak for my main. The steak is medium rare. It was a little cooked at the sides and a little bloody at the center. Not really soft but in fact a little tough to chew on. Not too bad though. There's boiled vegetables and potato salad as sides. All in all, an average American dinner.

Billy bombers american dinner. Love the ambience and settings. We had root beer float and buffalo wings. The root beer float came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It is really delicious! Scoop the ice cream and take a sip of root beer. Yummy! The buffalo wings are well marinated. Even though it's drenched with a layer of sauce, it is still crispy on the outside. There's even salad too!

A friend suggested we try out Billy Bombers and so we did. The food was so GREAT! The food portions are relatively large, and is enough to fill up two tummies! Ordered different kinds of the meat they offered, like their steak, fish, bratwurst, the works. Enjoyed the food there, and it would be good to bring friends there, as it has a casual dining ambience, and there's even a jukebox there!

I love to eat & my most favorite is American/Western food. We eat out atleast 5 times a week and try different restaurants here in SIngapore. A friend suggested we try out Billy Bombers and so we did. The food was so GREAT! I ate the ALL STAR BURGER and it was so filling! I had a hard time finishing it off actually because the serving is quite big and it was so delicious! I tried my friend's order too, their fish and chips that comes with coleslaw & fries is also nice but my order tastes nicer,
