Located at the basement of the hospital is a cafe, known for its hot drinks and traditional toast. As the queue at the drink stall in the food court could be quite long, I usually prefer to get my breakie here when I am in the area. The place is quite quiet and relaxing as it is surrounded by garden and a mini waterfall.After making payment for order at the cashier, one would given a pagar. It will light up when the food is ready for collection at the counter.Mei Cai Noodles Set ($5.50)which comes with a choice of coffee or tea.The dish has chopped preserved mustard, shredded chicken and handmade noodle. The soup is light and clear. Just nice for something light.The tea is thick and rich. Remember to stir it as there is sweetened condensed milk at the bottom of the cup. It could get a bit too sweet.
