Tucked away in a corner of a laid-back Kopitiam coffeeshop is this unassuming western food stall that is probably Hougang Kovan Central's best-kept makan secret, mostly known only to local residents and students. Prices are reasonable and you don't have to wait too long for your food. This stall serves up a wide range of western food choices. Food quality is pretty consistent and above average but nothing really impressive. Prices are higher than most other hawker center or open-air food courts

Food quality is pretty consistent and above average but nothing really impressive. Prices are higher than most other hawker center or open-air food courts - $5.50 for chicken chops, chicken cutlets, pork chops and $6.50 for lamb chops. The sirloin beef steak costs $7. Given these prices, I don't think they're value-for-money

Situated in a Kopitiam within walking distance from Heartland Mall, this stall, run by a couple, sells the best and the cheapest Western food you can find in a neighborhood coffee shop. I first came across it two years ago when I saw almost everyone in the coffee shop eating Western food, even though there were four other stalls. . The chicken is tender, well-marinated and well-grilled with a smoky aroma. I usually prefer to have my chicken chop with rice, salad and baked beans but you can alway
