Four Seasons Durians started as a fruit stall along Thomson Road in the 1970s. After a professional chef, Victor Chan, and businesswoman, Joyce Lee bought over the company, they started a store in Takashimaya Food Hall. They came up with various types of durian desserts, which were a hit with consumers. They use 100% durians with no artificial flavouring.

At Clementi Mall's Four Seasons Durians branch, they are also selling ice cream. Their ice cream has a very unique flavour of Mao Shan Wang durian. The friendly staff gave passby some samples to try before buying.The price of Mao Shan Wang ice cream cost $3 for a small cup, not cheap as compared to other gourmet ice cream. The ice cream was soft-serve type. The texture of the ice cream was creamy and soft. There was a aroma of fresh durian, I was not sure whether the smell was of Mao SHan Wang. The taste of ice cream was also heavy in fresh durain, there was some small bits of durain flesh in it. Overall, the Mao Shan Wang Ice Cream tasted quite real and good as compared to other ice cream stores that also sell durian flavour.

Puff! Puff! Puff! Ahem!The Durian Puff promotion is back at $9.80 for 20 mini puffs with the original pricing costing as much as $13.70.The puffs were stored in a paper box illustrated by a cute durian character printed which captures one's attention with its smiley face.As advised by the stall helper, they have to be kept in fridge to maintain its freshness and cannot stay in room temperature for more than 3 hours. Every piece of the pastry had cradled the most durian between. Fillings were frozen initially but as time passes they had turned abit watery. To avoid the taste of creamy and watery puff, it is best to consume when they were out of the chiller. This mochi style of serving is preferred as it gives a cooling kick when we bite down the golden french pastry with some pressure, somehow guaranteed a satisfaction

My brother bought this home for us the other day. The box has a cute little durian character as shown. It costs around $9.80 for a box of 20 mini durian puffs. It was still a little frozen when I consumed it, and the durian puree within was a little icy. It's best to leave it in the open for 15 minutes or so to ensure that the durian puree is creamy. It's pretty alright but the puff was a little hard. Puteri Mas at joo chiat still has one of the best durian puffs.

Four Seasons DurianFour Seasons durian staff at Clementi Mall - sells a variety of durian products.Bought the mini puffs today for a slight discount as the original item i wanted to try (durian mochi) was out of stock. The durian puffs are frozen and can be kept for 2 weeks (in the freezer) but only a day under normal refrigeration circumstances. Recommend to defrost and finish it quick. Does not taste as nice when frozen because the cream would turn icy.

Durian ice cream for fans of this fruit! Not many people know of this i supposed, which is why they are giving out small sample of the ice cream when i walked by the stall the other day. I tried and ended up buying a whole cup to myself ($3)! They are generous with their servings, but don't be too happy early cause one thing about soft serve is that, they melt real fast! The durian taste of the ice cream is strong, and tasted real. It is sweet, but reasonable by the ice cream standard. A tad pricey but for the size they served, i think it is very worth a try!
