This sambal fried rice cost $3 and i found that the portion was just right, it was not as oily as I thought. The spiciness level was alright as well, and it has a slight shrimp taste. Other than that, the ingredients used were so-so, nothing special at all. I feel that this plate of fried rice is worth the amount but I wouldnt eat this often because although it is not too oily but still there were traces of oil on the plate after i finished.

This fish soup ee-mian cost $3 at the zi char stall at golden spoon eating house. The serving was enough for one person, the soup was slightly starchy but tasted good. The fish pieces given was slightly less and there was an egg added as well. The egg was cracked in and it was half-cooked, i did not mix the egg together with the noodles as I prefer to eat it whole. The noodles were cooked just nice, thus this dish is definitely worth the price.

This cheese fries cost $2 and the fries was crispy and of a decent amount. The cheese that accompanied was tasty and not like the fake kind of cheese, also the mayonnaise was slightly salty but lacking a little sour taste. However, the overall combination of mayonnaise and the cheese was good! The wait for the cheese fries was not too long either, and i felt full after finishing the whole plate.

This char siew rice was bought from the chicken rice stall, the portion worth the price which i had forgotten. The char siew given was chewy but could be more flavourful, the sauce that accompanied was alright but was not sweet enough. There was a long queue for this stall as people were ordering the chicken rice instead of this. Given the price, it is definitely worth it!
