Fried frog with ginger and onions $16 (small) meat is tender and flavourful. Decent portion. Sambal potato leaves: not sure of the price as it is not on the menu but you can request for it. I really loved this but wish it could be spicier! Prawn paste chicken $9. Decent. Not too oily. Batter was very crispy and the taste was good. The menu looks professional and all our dishes came within 10 minutes which was really fast! I will definitely patronize them again.

I was thinking what to have for my dinner, to eat out, pack back or cook and finally, i decided to eat Seafood Big Eater. It's always my favorite place to eat zi char, almost every time that's my destination. However, I decided to pack back, because Big Eater is almost full house everyday. Damn tiring to wait. I would comment that the service is not very homely. They are very busy and I can understand however, when they're taking our orders, they are putting their focus on us though. Pretty upset but the food is really good. Stir Fry Beef Hor Fun. $6 (Small)Personally, I love beef and their beef is up to standard for a normal zi char stall however, it's quite a big portion, so if you can't finish, share with another. The hor fun taste like they have fried the horfun a little and after the gravy is down, it taste really delicious.XinZhou BeeHoon $4 (Small)Just right on this day, the beehoon taste a little different. Xinzhou beehoon suppose to be dry kind of beehoo however, on that day it's kinda oily or rather, very oily. But it taste okay, not that bad. But on the other days I went, It taste really good.Seafood Mui Fan $4 (Small)I really love their seafood mui fan, their gravy is really thick and tasty and the rice grains are not very sticky though. They are generous enough for their seafood ingredients! Overall, the taste is good.YangZhou Fried Rice $4 (Small)The grains are not sticky, a little dry but the taste is good unlike some fried rice that are really tasteless. I feel that it's worth trying.

Had zichar with good friends and we ordered quite a few dishes but these are my fav:1) Sambal Kang Kong - with wok-hei and the vegetables are crunchy and the sambal is tasty2) Har Jiong Gai - a very popular dish but not many place do it well, and they do it well. Well marinated and deep-fried till golden brown. Good job with this dish.3) Crispy Prawn Roll - not a common dish at a coffeeshop stall but they were able to pull it off and made a mean dish...4) Hot-plate Tofu - a tad spicy but very flavourful5) Black Pepper Beef - tender slices that almost melt in mouth6) Deep Fried Baby Squid - hubby fav dish and yes, it's good!7) Garlic Kailan - what's so great about vegetables right? Well they fry a good one.8) Salted Vege Soup - they also made a good bowl of soup that is not expected from this place.Total bill came up to be about $14 per pax which is very VALUE-FOR-MONEY. If in the area, will definitely return.

Had very yummy fried rice at Great Eater. The prawns in the fried rice is so juicy and fresh and sweet and really added a tinge of sweetness to the rice. The rice is not very oily though. You can also taste the freshness of the squid in the fried rice. the rice is also very fragrant! Such a value for money!

Ordered take away from Great eater again. The take-away only starts at noon for your information. I order this big serving fried bee hoon. My dad likes this dish a lot, he would always order this. Mostly because this dish is dry and still tasted the same after a long time. The lime juice makes the fried bee hoon more appetizing. They always give a lot of ingredients so i would definitely keep ordering from great eater.
