Hakka yong tau foo is usually with quite simple yong tau foo items with their clear sweet soup. This version from this stall did just alright which I think can be still better. The noodle is chewy but abit too dry and tasteless, which most probably is due to the lacking of dark soy sauce gravy in it. The minced pork topped on it is quite nice too. The sauces to dip the yong tau foo items are the usual sweet dark sauce and chilli sauce. Not too impressive and I believe there are still rooms for improvement.

This Yong Tau Foo stall is different from others. You don't get to choose what items you want with your noodles, the aunty cooks a standard variety of items like tau pok, tau hu and some other normal things you find in yong tau foo. There was half an egg in my bowl of laksa! (: I tasted the gravy first and immediately I knew I was going to enjoy the laksa. The gravy was just slurping good! It's a little more spicy because I asked the aunty to add extra chili, but the taste was still real authentic. I really enjoyed my bowl of laksa although I was perspiring quite profusely in the stuffy Varinice foodcourt. It really showed how delicious the meal was, YUM.
