This handmade noodles stall offers an interesting dao xiao mian - the chef uses a knife to cut off slices of the "noodles" from a piece of dough. I think the chef must have been day-dreaming a bit while carving out the noodles because there was simply too much given! The noodles were quite al dente and the soup base was not bad. The amount of beef given was also quite generous, although I will prefer if the beef was braised till more tender. Dao Xiao mian with beef - $6
