We are back again at Punggol plaza for late dinner. Hubby wanna eat Curry fish head, so we ordered a Claypot curry fish head and two dishes to share.Claypot curry fish head $20Today's fish head is quite thick and meaty. Nothing much to do on Hari Raya holiday so went out with Hubby to have dinner at Punggol Plaza.Today's menu:Steamed Red Snapper with parsley & ginger sauce $28.00: This is new item on their menu, the parsley & ginger sauce is pretty refreshing and yummy. Ordered two dishes to share with hubby.Stir fried french beans with dried shrimps $9.00This dish is my fave...it taste even better than Tung Lok's Lao Beijing one. The french bean is very crunchy, hae bee is fried till fragrant and bits of chili padi adds kick to the dish.Sweet corn pork rib soup $5.00Freshly brewed daily, this was their Soup of the day. The broth was infused with corn's natural sweetness, pork rib was cooked till very soft and easy to bite..yums.

Hubby and I go to Punggol Plaza for tse char dinner on a weekly basis. Although the nearby Master Crab serves better food but it is a non aircon venue, so we always patronise Hao Xiang instead so that we could dine in aircon comfort inside the Koufu foodcourt.Our food choices of the day...Mee Goreng (medium) $8This is one of the better fried carbo dishes served here. As usual we ordered one medium carbo dish and one meat dish and one vege dish to share.Fish head meehoon soup $8This has quite ample amount of fish head slices and most of them were very meaty and not boney. The soup is quite bland though. Not too bad overall..Gong Bao chicken $9Spicy and slightly sweet, chicken cubes were tender...not too bad as well.Stir fry 奶白菜 $9Fried with garlic...tasted normal, nothing special.that sums up our weekly dining experience at Hao Xiang seafood.

Due to mother's day crowd, hubby and I only went out for dinner after 9pm. Although the crowd was gone but so is many of the menu items...mostly sold out! We managed to place order for a medium fried Hong Kong noodle ($7) and a plate of stir-fry chinese spinach with garlic ($8) for sharing. I ordered a mee goreng for dinner, as i have not had meegoreng for the longest of time.The standard of the food was inconsistent.I was disappointed as the meegoreng was overspicy and the taste was a tad too bland,they could have added more seasonings.The portion was big though, they had prawns,sotong and eggs in it.

Tonight was the first time at this eatery with a group of friends.We ordered sambal sotong and it tasted horrible. The unedible part of the sotong was not cleared properly and some felt that it was taste unpleasantly gluey. We feedback to the waitress who subsequently had the manager spoke to us.
